"1980 Triumph TR7"Ohsweken, Ontario
Nikon D50, July 2012"I love taking photos of our Triumph, my Dad worked many hard years to bring this car back to being a beautiful, driveable piece of art. I know it makes him proud to see me take interest in it, and that's what I'm all about..."
This car has been in my family since before I was even around, my Dad has cherished this car since the day he bought it. It had to be completely rebuilt because of an accident it was in, where the entire front end was run over by a dump truck that took a corner too sharply. When I see this car, it makes me smile because it reminds me of my Dad. I really love this car, I love everything about it.
I took several photos of the car this past July after the car show in Brantford. I love taking it to car shows, it gets a lot of compliments and I know that makes my Dad happy. He added side pipes to it, and it's a very loud car because he put a new engine in it. I love starting it up when there's unsuspecting people around it. (hehe)
We took the photos by the Grand River before we got hit with a huge storm.
