I created this painting of one of my photographs taken in June of 2012. I had taken a trip to the Toronto Zoo and had some pretty nice butterfly shots. This one "Plain Tiger 3" is one of my favourites so painting this from my own photo source was very enjoyable. I've been really looking at my work critically lately and wanted to improve, so I tried a couple different techniques in this. I am proud of this painting, it really symbolizes the changes in my life right now, explaining the title.
