"On Venetian Plains"
Pencil Crayons on Sketchbook paper
"This was actually just created one day really quickly as an idea for the final painting."
This was done shortly after I got back from my trip to Italy. I had such an incredible, memorable time there that I really wanted to create something of my own to represent my trip and remind me of it wen I saw it. I actually saw this picture in a travel guide, where the final painting is of a photo I took. This ended up being one of my best ever pencil crayon drawing. I got the water to look decent, his shirts great, pretty good proportions... and this was way back in 2006.
